About KAN
Kungälv's Organizers Network (KAN in Swedish) is a compilation of different organizers and subcontractors working in Kungälv, mostly on or around Bohus Fortress, but also throughout the larger Kungälv area. We are non political and all our celebrations and festivals are funded by private means.
Our vision is to preserve the culture heritage in Kungälv as well as develop the cultural scene. The goal is to host all our different festivals annually for many years to come thus contributing to the positive developement of the tourism industry in the municipality of Kungälvs.

About Lilla Våghals
Lilla Våghals is a non profit orginazation based in Kungälv. Most of our events are hosted at Bohus Fortress but also in the surrounding areas. The society is not involved in any politics or religion and it's entirely financed by private funding and donations.
The society is based on 4 owners, 10 or so project managers and a large amount of volunteers that gives the festival great commitment and a lot of pro bono work.
The goal is to host Kungahälla Medieval days every summer for many years to come and be written down in history books as one of the most renowned festivals in the historical genre.
