The staff informs the visitors about the festival and also gives out some tourist information (such as public transportation, restaurants outside the festival area and more). Work weekends

We have three work weekends before the festival. During wich we do all sorts of things such as placing hundreds of meters of fences (and cover them with fabric) all the way around the torunament area, build things, paint signs, put our stamp on ALL tickets, go on poster runs, write aprticipants cards and much much more.

Criteria:
Are you any good at writing, painting, crafts, carpenting.. well.. anything really.. then WELCOME!

Hosts

We are in need of a group of guards focusing on everybody having a good time all around the fortress. Besides our guards with badges we also need cevilians to help out upholding order and informing the visitors about the festival.

This could mean that you're standing guard by the entrance, see to that noone "slips under the fence" during tournaments and so on.
These guards are trained by us so that they know what to do if a fire brakes out or an accident happens.

Runners

We're always in need of people who can jump in at short notice. For example if it's a whoppin 30 degrees C and the actors in the court are dying of thirst. Or when the larger bands are trying to get all their gear into the fortress and needs some extra hands. In those situations we need runners who are ready to lend a helping hand and come to the rescue.

During all of wednesday and sunday night a LARGE amount of people is needed to man stations in the guest harbour all the way up to the back of the fortress.
